The Cape Girardeau Public School District is seeking a dedicated Physical Education/Health Teacher for Central Junior High School for the 2024-25 academic year.

The teacher will guide the development and implementation of an instructional program that will provide the best possible health and wellness education experiences for each student.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in Physical Education and Health
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in human relations, leadership and conflict management
• Knowledge of teaching techniques that meet the diverse need of students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Willingness and ability to coach at the secondary level
• Working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities
